The festival will feature over 60 stalls offering a variety of traditional Lao dishes, modern Lao cuisine, and international flavors. Visitors can expect to enjoy:

• Sale of Lao souvenirs and specialty products
• Cultural exchange events
• Activities for both adults and children

Organized by the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and Sakura Kokusai High School Tokyo Campus, the Laos Festival 2025 promises to be a comprehensive showcase of Laotian culture, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Laos without leaving Japan.

On behalf of the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, I am very pleased to welcome all of you to the Laos Festival 2025, at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.  Laos and Japan have enjoyed a long-standing friendship and good cooperation. As strategic partners since 2015, our bilateral relationship has continuously been maintained, deepened, and widened in various areas.  The Laos Festival is one of the biggest events of Laos in Japan, which has contributed to enhancing friendship, particularly in areas of people-to-people and cultural exchanges, as well as promoting business opportunities and networking between the private sectors of our two countries.At the Laos Festival 2025, you will enjoy Lao cuisines and beverages, among others (including the unique taste of Lao beer named “Beer Lao”, coffee, and tea), cultural dances, music, traditional experiences with the Baci Ceremony, and a parade showcasing the Lao Rocket Festival “Boun Bang Fai”. You will also see a variety of ethnic costumes, attractive Lao handicraft products, and much more.
